A quarter of our bones and 200,000+ nerve endings live in our feet — yet we rarely give them a second thought. This workshop changes that.
Let's make the most out of practicing yoga barefoot!
We'll take a closer look at foot anatomy, build strength and flexibility through fun foot exercises, and move through a yoga asana practice to find your optimal foot placement in common poses.
Healthier feet mean healthier knees, hips, back, and shoulders — plus a steadier, more confident gait on and off the mat.
You'll leave with:
- Tips to carry forward, on the mat and in daily life
- A clearer understanding of foot placement that supports your yoga practice
- Foot exercises to build strength, prevent sprains, and ease common foot issues
- The connection between foot health and aches elsewhere in the body — especially as we age
We all have different shapes, sizes, and things going on with our feet and ankles...this workshop is for everyone.
A few shares from past workshop participants:
"Mary Beth has a very gentle way of working with each student and an openness to limitations & practice. This I found hugely wonderful and accepting."
"After all these years, this was the first time I was able to really think about using my feet in yoga and understand each component of the poses and why."
"I really liked the format of the workshop. I learned so much!"
Mary Beth has over 30 years of experience practicing and studying yoga, primarily in the Krishnamacharya breath-centered lineage, and has offered this feet-focused workshop in various forms for over 16 years — it remains one of her favorites to teach. She approaches her daily practice and her 17 years of teaching with an academic mind and a curious heart. https://3greencircles.com/
